The Time of Greed: Part 2 - Deucalion

Story summary

Pondering the chaos he observed below from Mount Olympus, Zeus enlists the help of Poseidon to submerge the earth in water. Only one man, Deucalion, and one woman, Pyrrha, are spared. When the waters subside Mother Earth is healed and the corruption of humanity has been swept away. Deucalion and his wife Pyrrha thank Zeus for saving them. Hermes appears and instructs them to descend the mountain, throwing the bones of their mother behind them. They do so, throwing stones from the earth behind them. As they do so, the stones become men and women.
